 At Dantapelle Australian Cobberdogs, our breeding dogs aren't just part of our program — they're part of a family. That's the heart of our Guardian Home Program. Rather than keeping all of our breeding dogs with us full-time, we carefully place them with loving, approved families in the Brisbane region who become their forever home. They're raised as cherished pets, surrounded by love and attention throughout their lives, with Dantapelle retaining breeding rights for a set period of time. Once a Guardian Dog has completed their breeding career, they are desexed at our expense and full ownership transfers permanently to their Guardian Family — no goodbyes, no upheaval, just a lifetime of companionship.

For the right family, it's a wonderful arrangement. Guardian Families receive a top-quality, pedigree Australian Cobberdog at little or no initial cost, along with our ongoing guidance and support. In return, they provide a safe, loving home, routine care, and the flexibility to bring their dog to us when needed for breeding appointments or whelping. All breeding-related veterinary costs are covered by us — Guardians are simply responsible for the everyday care they'd provide any beloved family dog. If you live within 30-60 mins of North Brisbane,have a house with yard, have secure fencing, and have plenty of time and love to give, we'd love to hear from you.

We are picky !! - and the arrangement is conditional for dedicated and passionate people, whom believe in open & honest communication, good healthy raw/fresh feeding and regular grooming for their doggo ! - willing to follow our advice on worming/flea treatments.
